Just to add to the legend...   "Original MGB" states that the early hardtops 
were high on resin, and very resistant to damage.  Later tops were full of talc 
and cracked when dropped.

Not quite complete or entirely correct. W on a factory hardtop would be for 
Watsonian Sidecar, not Webasto. And not all factory hardtops were made by 
Watsonian. Originally Ferranti Laminations of Wales was the vendor who 
supplied the factory hardtops. Watsonian came later.
