Hi - last year, my '76B (with '75 engine and single Z-S carb) died while I =
was out driving and would not restart. Once back home, I managed to get it =
to start but it runs very rough andgenerates some light smoke - not dense c=
louds, and not white (like with a head gasket leak) but stinky none-the-les=
s. I posted a video here -

That gives a sense of idle roughness, if not the light smoke... The tach is=
steady at idle.=20
I've replaced spark plugs and distributor rotor, as well as cleaned the con=
tacts in the plug leads. Just installed a new electronic fuel pump as the o=
ld one crapped out. Lines are clearand fuel filter fills nicely. Carb was r=
ebuilt about 4 years ago and before the car died on me last year, the car r=
an very well. I did open it up to check the diaphragm and floats, they are =
fineand the carb was clean inside. Car has about gas, most from last year b=
ut with 2 gallons from today added.
I did not try to drive it as the brakes need to be bled....
I've changed jobs recently and now have time to get this car back on the ro=
ad and need some help as to where to start....
