there is a 'wall' between the two halves of the reservoir as there is in =
dual brake masters, so a fault in one circuit/system doesn't stop the =
other one working as well.

Regarding the original question, no, it won't affect the clutch. There =
are different pistons for brake vs clutch in the shared master cylinder. =
Depressing the clutch petal will simply use fluid from the reservoir and =
activate the slave cylinder (or, at least it should, lol) irregardless =
if the brakes have been bled yet or not.
