I have never had a cover deteriorate that fast. But they will eventually =
break down in sunlight. Also, the cotton covers will collect dust which =
slowly works its way through the weave onto your car. So even if the =
cover isn=E2=80=99t creating powder, the car still will get dusty.
They make silver reflective covers that are more sun resistant than the =
soft cotton ones, and which don=E2=80=99t let dust settle through. =
Regardless, you will be surprised how dirty the car looks when you take =
the cover off.
