It depends on the panels =E2=80=93 the 70s MGs used the plastic clips and t=
he door panels should have a place to insert the circular part of the clip.=
The clips are Moss item 226-670:

https://mossmotors.com/clip-door-panel

=20

The 62-67 Mk1 MGs used the screws and caps. Granted the clips are not visib=
le on the exterior of the panel when used, I like the screw design better a=
s it makes it easier to remove the panels when needed. The clips may break =
during removal so I keep spares on hand for my 72B

Hello folks,

This sounds like a dumb question as I have had MGBs for ages......but what =
is the correct way of fixing the door panels to the door? Currently mine =
are held on by the window winder, door latch thingy, the recently installed=
loud speaker and nothing at the bottom. It should be the little screws and=
caps like other interior panels yes? If you can I would appreciate photo=
s.  =20

By the bye, I have just spent an hour getting the panel back on because I c=
ould not get the speaker holding screws in line with the metal strap with '=
holder clips' they put in to hold the speaker. Total fiddle and blind mano=
uvers!!!!!! But now the speaker fasteners are in and they hold the panel.=
   Whew!!!

Cheers
Barrie
