My 64 Morgan has turn signals but they are not the self canceling type
( think the factory wanted to be sure that turn signals weren't just a
passing fad before investing in self canceling type ). This causes a
problem since the noise in the car is such that you can't hear the
flasher ticking or. for that matter, the other drivers yelling and
swearing at you for driving down the road with a blinker on.
Several years ago I was talking to someone about this and told him how
I had been trying to figure out a way to have the " blinks "counted
electronically and cancel after so may flashes. Being a Morgan owner
my idea of high tech electronics is a solenoid. He told me of a
transistor which would count electric impulse before switching off. He
would not tell me the name of it or where I could find one saying, 2
but offered to sell me one if he ever got around to making it. ( I
didn't say this guy was a friend).
Anyway, is there anyone out there who can suggest what this transistor
is called and where I would get one?

Thanks Bob Nogueira
