For those who are combined movie and Morgan trike fans, I recently saw the
Claude LeLouche (director/participant in 'Rendezvous' and director of 'A Man
and a Woman') film 'Les Miserables'. It is not the Victor Hugo story but a
fascinating (and very well filmed) parallel story to the the classic book of
the same title. It was filmed in 1995 and stars Jean-Paul Belmondo (who has
aged nicely - the lines and character in his face is NOT 'hollywood' but
real and very expressive).

The point of all this is at one part in the movie (at about the 2.5 hour
mark, out of 3 hours), there is a fleeting image of a three wheeler in the
background. In all accuracy, since the story is set in France, it may be
one of the 'other' trikes. Not knowing the range of body forms in the
history of 3W-Mogs, and not seeing enough of the front end (an actors head
gets in the way - they have a habit of doing that), I can't be sure it was a
Morgan. I'm sure someone out there can identify it with more accuracy.

Enjoy the rest of the film. It is resplendant with ethos and pathos and the
filming is quite lush. The film develops the background of an individual
and then plays out his fundamental principles during WW II when he helps a
Jewish family escape persecution. There are some dark and grim scenes but
not gross or really gory. The film is upbeat overall so don't get
discouraged by the gritty parts.
