Dear All,

Re : Moss Gearbox Rear Mounting.

The Original Two bolt fixing mounting had not been available for years =
and years - even the factory supply a "near enough" three bolt fixing =
(one lug has to be hammered over to make it fit) mount as a replacement. =
The dimensions of the mount currently supplied are not the same as the =
original thus leading to a slight misalignment of the gearbox tail case.

Now, even in the UK - a second-hand Moss gearbox is fetching in the =
region of =A31000 -and with the fragile case alloy tail case (not to be =
attacked with a lump hammer) it made sense to have some mounts =
manufactured.=20

The mountings we have, have been specially made by the original =
manufacturer - the only difference is that the bare steel is now powder =
coated. Due to the metalastic process and tooling and only having 50 =
made at a time (due to the limited amount of vehicle that use this =
mount) - they are not cheap. Currently we have eleven in stock and the =
next batch may be made early next year. If we had 5,000 made the price =
would be greatly reduced - but we would never sell that amount and the =
Kids would not be pleased being left them as a legacy.

Kind Regards
