I had mine done at RW Little 3923 Pacific Highway, San Diego, (619)297-3705.
In our Yellow Pages there is a flock of listings under "Coatings, Protective."
Powder coating is special because after sand blasting the powder coat is
sprayed on while the part is electrically charged. making the powder bond mor
effectively than simple paint does.I don't think priming is needed. The cheap
and dirty way to do it is to mask off the tire and spray the wheel with
aluminum paint from a spray can, which you can do yourself, which will make
the wheel look presentable for a year or so.
