For the benefit of Richard, and those who have not seen a mog jack in
the flesh (metal)...
It is a RED pipe-like structure, with a flared base, and a
metal protrusion of some 2 inches. It has a collapsible lever at the
top.
The protrusion is inserted into a hole in the crossmember just
forward of the driver's seat, the base then goes through
the removeable blocks in the floor, and you can then turn the lever
and jack up the whole one side of the car - even when sitting in it,
though not recommended !!!!
When I first got my mog, I didn't know what it was and nearly
disposed of it at an autojumble.
