 For what it's worth, on my July, 1997 visit to MMC, when the "long door"
cars were just beginning to be built, I found myself with Bill Beck, the R&D
man at the Works, examining the details of the North American Spec.
prototype Plus 8 destined for U.S.D.O.T. testing. One of the key things he
mentioned to me that they were anxious to preserve was the angle of
the windscreen "which repeats the angle of the front stoneguard" for
aesthetic reasons. Perhaps you can use this profile of the car as your
guide.
