You should contact Melvyn Rutter directly and let him know you are
interested in buying a pair from the next run as it seems most of the
previous run was spoken for before they were made.

You're right about the difference in comfort between air cushions and foam

even with good dense foam there's no comparison. I have both my original
air
bladders but they both have slow leaks, which are annoying until they turn
into faster leaks, when I can then patch them and find the next slow leak.
33-year-old rubber will only get worse.....I hope Melvyn R. runs off a new
batch; if anyone finds out that they have, let the rest of us know (after
you
get yours of course!)
