Hi Bob,
There are several on the market and most all I've tried work well - the key
to a nice even and uniform crackle finish though, is TEMPRETURE. If it's a
nice hot day, set the piece outside in the sun atleast an hour before you
spray it, alternatively if the weather is lousy, stick the piece in the oven
for a few minutes to get it nice and warm. Spray one even heavy coat (be
careful of runs) then set the piece back in a warm place to dry. One other
tip. Even though the piece may be dry to the touch after about six hours or
so - It won't go really hard for several weeks, so take extreme care when
reassembling the dash not to mar the finish (ideally, leave it several weeks
before you do)
