Hi guys,

Those old enough and with an American service background will know to what I
refer.
To the younger ones - it was the name given to the joint USA/NZ Antarctic
operations of a few years ago.
Anyway, I digress.
One of the interesting things about being registrar of the New Zealand club
is that every so often one gets a phone call that sheds new light on Morgan
activity in New Zealand a few years ago.
Tonight's curly. A phone call from a gentleman who remembers that back in
the late 50s/early 60s a sailor on one of the U.S.N. Deep Freeze support
ships purchased a three-wheeler in the South Island of New Zealand and
shipped it home, possibly on one of the ice breakers or support ships. He
could provide nothing else.
Any thoughts? Any clues? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Gary Moles
