I am in the midst of restoring the frame and sheet metal of my '67 plus 4, 4
seater and need a
little help. I purchased the car fully disassembled so I have nothing to look
at as I go forward
on this. Here is my question, where the rear panel meets the side panel the
metal is bent back at
a 90 deg. angle on one piece and I do not understand how it is supposed to fit
into the wooden
frame. If the metal was not bent it would lay flat against the frame but the
bend prevents that
from happening. Please enlighten me on this and tell me how the two panels are
supposed to fit
together.
