Plans for the next Moggie Miglia were announced at the MOPS holiday party.
Craig and Kerry started taking deposits so the club would have the "seed
money" for the event. No date has been set, but mid to late May seems to be
the target. This has been a great driving event and non-MOPS members (in
Morgans, of course) are welcome to participate. Past events have been held
in eastern PA through Bucks County and the Bethlehem and Pocono areas. In
the past it consisted of several stages including a rally, odometer check
drive, an auto-cross and one or two other "fun" events such as allowing each
car to coast down a long hill to see which car rolls the furthest distance.
A breakfast meeting before the driving, a lunch stop at mid drive, and an
awards banquet at the end are also part of the day's activities.
Several people started the ball rolling at the party by giving Craig & Kerry
deposits. If anybody out there is interested, please contact them
ckchapel@fast.net for more details. In the past, MOPS have limited the
number of participants. Non-club members are always welcome but
participation is restricted to Morgans only.
