I am not sure which Carter you have, but if it's an AFB, many of the parts
will interchange with the Edelbrock Performer series carburetors. As I
understand it, Edlebrock bought the rights to manufacture them and is
having them built by Weber. I have one on my 86 Blazer and it works great.
Check with you LAPS and see if they can order parts. I don't know if all
of them will interchange, but a friend of mine is using Edlebrock parts
(jets, and floats) in his early Carter AFB. Good luck.
