sadly, there was no luck on any of the parts requests offa the old 50;
today i was going to offer the shop owner $250 for the carcass and strip it
(badly rotted cab from windows down, but good fenders, rear end, block,
wheel tubs, rims, drums etcetc), sell what I don't need to recoup some of
it.
yesterday someone walked up and offerred him $500 cash, it leaves tomorrow.
drat.
worst of all, it has MOST of the deluxe spare carrier WELDED to the cab
back (which is why i didn't get it earlier); now i gotta convince the new
owner to sell me it :(
