While my truck's front axle is still at the shop being put together, I have
become aware of two "complete" modified frames for sale within reasonable
driving distance. One is a '53 with a Firebird subframe, but the one that I
like is a '54 with a Fatman / Mustang II front end. Question; Since my truck
is a '53, is there a big difference between the '53 and the '54 frames?. Like
Alan Gingles (the pictures in his web-site are great), I do not have a garage,
so the possibility of picking up a frame with all the major work done is
attractive, and hopefully I could save a little money in the process.
