www.truckworld.com has an excellent 3-part article on rebuilding a 292 and
installing it where a 250 used to be.  Though the install is done in a 70'
model Chevy, the troubles encountered and solutions reached may be similar.
The article is in the tech section and is labeled Chevy Pt. 1, 2, and 3, and
is worth reading, regardless.
