Use genuine GM gear box lube. It a pre-mix of grease and gear oil that
provides the necessary lubrication, but is thick enough to prevent leakage. I
can look up the part number if you wish.

Did anybody come to a consensus on what modern grease to re-pack the
steering box with on Task Force trucks? I've never come across what my
'55-2 shop manual describes.
