[oletrucks] 50' AD on El Camino frame?

I was wondering if anyone has done this type of transferring. I'm
thinking of putting a
53 3100 on the frame of a 81 El Camino frame.
I heard that you can do this with a 77-90's short box pick-up, but the
El Camino frame sets lower.
Any help would be appreciated.
