Yep, they sure have their own way of figuring thing out when all their
friends are around. just the other day my son and i were out in the
garage working on the oletruck when is two buddies showed up to have a
look see what all the bragging was about from 17 yr. old son.
Well I couldn't help from over hearing the conversation and believe me
the olegirl was going to be the coolest ride at school when finished,
when he knows she won't be completed for at least two or three yrs and
he would be finished school and like i would let him and is buddies go
joy riding in the oletruck (ha ha ha). But it was interesting to learn
something about my son when he is with is friends.

Took my 15 year old to his ROTC picnic last Sunday, and when I said "Get in
the truck," he groaned with disappointment, longing for the smoother, air
conditioned ride of his mom's mini-van, with the cd player, stereo speakers,
etc. But reluctantly he climbed up in the cab of my classic, slammed the
door shut and buckled up. Upon arrival at the park, when he got out and met
up with all his friends, everyone, including teachers, was asking who the
cool old truck belonged to. My son stuck out his chest, and proudly
proclaimed, "It's mine!"
