| I went to my local parts house tonite, hoping to find a pulley for my generator, with a little wider vee than the one that's there, to accomodate the wider belt. When I asked the teenager behind the counter if he carried parts for generators, he said, "Heck no, you'll have to go to Home Depot where they sell generators." Maybe I should have just called it an alternator. Smokey Culver '50 3600 5-window (mine) & '56 3600 (hers) oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
