Almost as good as a junkyard is a good surplus store. There's one near me
that takes me a couple hours to get out of every time. I love walking
through aisles of disorganized fasteners, examining them, thinking of all
the things I could build or what they were originally made for.
The place is run by an old guy who loves to tinker and talk about tinkering,
and doesn't care if you buy one bolt or a hundred. Fun, fun, fun, but most
people would not understand. I know you guys would, though.
