My '57 GMC 102 had a screw type jack in it when I bought it
12 years ago. I wouldn't bet my life that it was original,
but it fits in the hold-down mechanism nicely.

After my request on what the jacks looked like, I got several jpg's that
included jacks. Apparently, the early trucks had screw type jacks; the
58/59's at least had scissor jacks. . . question--at what point/year did
they
swap from one style to the next?

Thanks,
