Before you bury yourself in your truck, be sure to do the following:

Check with local planning and zoning authorities and obtain appropriate
approvals.
You must submit multiple copies of a site plan and improvement drawings
signed by an architect or engineer.
An environmental impact report (negative declaration) may be required.
If the site is near water, you must also obtain approvals form the state
fish and game department.
The site excavation will, of course require a permit form the local building
official.
The excavation will also require OSHA permits to assure the appropriate
shoring is used.
This may necessitate a soils report to verify the strength and stability of
the soil material, signed by a licensed engineer or geologist.
All hazardous materials must be removed from the truck before it's buried so
you must remove the battery and fuel tank and drain all other fluids to the
satisfaction of the authorities.

Obviously, this process will take some time and possibly some public
hearings, so plan well in advance.
And you thought this was the land of the free?
