Grant--

I think I would not want to put a suspension designed to support 300
pounds under the back of my pickup...

Try looking into the later model Tbirds, as well as the Vette, and Jag
(if you have $$$)

I was driving on the freeway this afternoon behind a Honda CRV, and I
couldn't help noticing its cool independent rear suspension. My eyeball
estimate of the rear end looked like it was about the right width for an
AD.
I think these things have been around for about 5 years, I wonder if
there'd
be a few in the junk yards by now. Anyone know whether these things are
adaptable?

I also think some MBZ rear suspensions would work, but I never hear of
anyone doing it. I'm sure they'd be expensive, but couldn't be too much
worse than a Jag rear end. Anyone ever hear of such a thing?
