It's been about two years since I discovered (actually my wife came home and
said she saw a truck like mine at Old Navy) an AD in a store. The next time
she went shopping, I graciously volunteered to go along. While pouring over
the truck a security type came up and asked me what I was doing. I told him
I was trying to determine the year it was made. He said it was a '51. I said
I don't think so. He pointed to the Illinois 1951 license plate. I pointed
out some of the more obvious reasons it was at least a '52. It was an empty
victory, he just walked away.
