I don't know how good the quality is, so you're on your own, but Harbor Freight
at
http://www.harborfreight.com has a couple of inexpensive brakes available.
There's an 18" model
that has an advertised capacity of 16 gauge for $19.99, (item #39103-0AJA),
and a 30" model for up
to 17 gauge for 49.99, (item #41311-0AJA). This supposedly would handle most
body patch panel work
which is done primarily on 18 gauge (.050" thick). Gee, I might risk spending
the $20 for the odd
piece that needs a 90 degree bend in it. Maybe more effective than hammering
it over the corner of
the work bench! H-freight BTW has free shipping if you order $50 minimum.
Usually there's just a
small handling charge applied.
