Am having trouble locating a 50-54 GMC 228 cubic inch engine . Any suggestions? Also wondering what the differences are between the 228 and the 248 engine. Are they about the same length? Are motor mounts the same? Will accessories interchange? Have been looking in the central/southeast Texas area. Thanks.
