Jim, I always thought that NH was cheaper than us here in Mass., and I don't 
have the truck on the
road to compare, but I have my 72 Malibu insured here with just basic 
insurance, no collision
(unless the other driver is more than 50% at fault), no fire/theft/glass, etc. 
and it costs me about
$375 per year.  As a comparison on other vehicles, my wife's 1998 Subaru is 
about $1400 per year,
but I have my 18 year old son on that.  It would probably be about 1/2 that if 
he were not included,
as my 1996 S-10 pickup is around $600.  It and the Subaru are both insured for 
total collision, $500
deductable.  I can remember a number of years ago that NH did not require any 
insurance as long as
you had no accidents, then it was mandatory.  Guess the pressure from other 
states dealing with
uninsured motorists changed all that!

My poilicies are through Horace Mann.  I think they are in MN(??), but I have a 
local agent down
here in Fitchburg.
