A 3/4 ton will have alarge hub for a floating axle while a 1/2 ton does not.
1/2 ton will have a cut out of the fender for the spare tire the 3/4 does
not
the 1/2 ton has a bearing rear axle 6 lugs
3/4 ton 8 lugs usually
