Although I am perfectly happy driving around in my stock 49, my son and
I are building him a convertible street truck (AD) that will eventually
be his daily driver. This is a bit of a stretch for the purist in me,
but what the heck ...................
Anyway, his idea is to match a "modern" bed with the stock cab; says
that he has seen pictures of it and knows that it can be done. Does
anybody have any idea what stepside beds will fit a stock 3/4 ton frame?
Has anyone ever done this, and if so, what all was involved?
