You're mosaic idea reminds me of the wallpaper Amy Turner made for the
Sprite list a while back. I think it would be a great image to create.

I was checking out the latest addition to Wayne's collection of pics of our
oletrucks and was struck with an inspiration.
1) this is is what it is because of the members who contribute to it.
2) everyone has a little bit different taste in what flavor oletruck they
like (other wise we'd all be driving forest green stockers)
3) t-sirts have a front and a back, and different folks like stuff in
different places.
Now this might take a bit of organization, but I think its something that
could easily be done, and I know there are simple tools available to
automate this.....
So, Wayne has images from every year from 47-59, we'd need a picture of
some Art Deco's (Whitney has a beaut, and there are about a dozen others
on the list) but what could be done is this:
Set up a polling page so everyone can vote on their favorite picture of
each year. Most popular truck of that year will be the chosen one for part
of a mosiac of images.
This mosaic of photos goes on the back of the shirt, on the front over the
pocket area is a smaller line drawing with the token Art deco, Advance
design, and Task force truck with the oletrucks mailing list info, same
image as being used for the stickers.
I put up a rough example of what I was thinking of. This would need some
simple work to make each image of the truck the same size, and some
captions, but you get the idea:
