i am no expert but i will throw in a few things and the rest of you correct
me if i am wrong my 50 3100 also has just the tailight on the drivers
side this was factory as these vehicles came with no turn signals and just
that one tailight

i am pretty sure that you can use the later model 70's and 80's or 90's eight
lug rims if you want to have something safer they are a one piece steel
wheel and work fine
if you want to mount original style hubcaps you can do so by drilling the
wheels and adding the clips smokey culver from our list did this to his
good lookin 3600 and he even has a web page showing the process

an ad truck means advanced design built from late 47 until early 55 so,
yes you have an ad truck tf is the next series as a task force design
they had art deco, streamline and pioneer prior to our ad's if you want
more info there are some good sites that explain all this chevytrucks.org
will help you for sure
