You must have missed the thread about how I just replaced a whole set of
frozen hydraulic lifters in my 235 . Patrick's isn't selling them
anymore as they are too problematic . If I had to do it all over again I
would go with solids in a second ,  But to answer your question there
will be a hole cross bored in your block that intersects the middle of
the lifter that's the oil passage that keeps the lifters pumped up
(allegedly ! )

Mine still has a slight tap in one of the lifters so Im going to do the
mod that worked for Grant. but maybe not for a week or so . too busy.
