Could be, but it would be hard to keep 
your engine running while you measured it.
Easier to temporarily put a T in the line 
between the pump and the carb and connect 
the gauge to it.

I want to check my fuel pump pressure.  My vacuum guage also has a scale
that 
reads "Fuel Pump PSI".  Can this thing be hooked up directly to the pump 
output to measure?  What should the stock 235 pump pressure be?  (I loaned 
out my shop manual)  Thanks.
