I modified my fender brace a little and it works great! but yes the 3rd carb 
is very tight.  You can modify and not have problams but it might get messy.  
 I am gonna stay away from any mods to the firewall just to have more room 
for a 3rd carb.  If it is what you wanna do try it for yourself.
