Whitney,
Patrick's catalog says 37 - 40 need to find a six bolt flywheel. I looked at
my shop manual for the forty. It shows six bolts for the flywheel. So I'm
hoping you right.

The simplest solution is use the original flywheel and bellhousing bolted up
to the new 235. You can then use the original starter as well.
