Bicycling home from work tonight I caught a brief look at a GORGEOUS AD...
it turned before I could catch up to it, but it looked flawless; dark
(maroon?) paint, historic Texas plate (M 14 sumpin), maybe a little
lowered. 6 volts, by the lights!
Actually, I heard it before I saw it - that tranny growl, the thunk of the
clutch, 'chumpf' sound when you let the clutch back in and hit the gas,
the exhaust sound.......... Bigod, I'm fixing that pesky carb for once and
for all this month and geting our truck outta the yard! Seeing and hearing
this truck really made me miss driving one.
