Mark--there's a guy in Tucson who used to do this,
and may still be doing it...Fred's Truck Parts.
Specializes in TF trucks, he would piece together
fenders, fix doors, cabs, etc and sell thru his ad
in Hemmings. He would get decent money for the
parts, but like you say, I doubt you could make a
living at it unless you charge an awful lot for the
parts you sell, or you can buy decent ones to fix at
a very good price.
