I put mine just behind where the old steering box used to be, inside the
frame rail on the driver's side, between the "new" master cylinder and the
now removed original steering box.
the plumbing works nice that way. I had originally placed it on the front
crossmember on the engine side of the radiator, it ended up looking like a
"medussa", and i didn't like the 3/16" lines exposed to the fan, just in
case.
The rest of the truck sits on a '76 gmc front crossmember, and the rear is
from a '73 chevy wagon sittin on caravan leaves....master cylinder is also
from a '76 gmc truck.

i'm on hold while i work on the house. I'm gonna paint the frame some, and
bag it for the winter, but plan to make some headway in the spring!

manuel.

I put mine on the inside of the passenger side frame rail, just behind
the trans crossmember.

Ran the lines from the master along the crossmember to the valve. The
rear line just hooks up from where it was. The front lines run forward
with the drivers front running back across the front crossmember under
the radiator.

That follows the course and mounts of the original lines pretty well.
