I used the cool cap in the fender.  Any decent muffler shop can bend a
pipe to fit between the cap and the tank.  By the way, 15 minutes of
work with a polishing wheel and stainless compound will remove the "Cool
Cap" logo from the cap.

I used a mid 80s chevy van tank between the rails on my 55 and will put
a mini van filler door in the fender or a cool-cap which would be
easier.        Deacon; tx
