To put the engine at TDC, put the crank shaft timing mark at TDC on the scale.
At TDC the #1 piston should be all the way up in the bore at the same time the
timing mark on the crank shaft at TDC. At this time the rotor in the
distributor will be pointing at the #1 spark plug wire position on the
distributor. If it's not, pull out the distributor enough to turn the gear and
set it right. If all is right, check those spark plug wires again. Hope this

no its a firing bang like out of timing but i dont know what to do ...
how can i tell what cylinder is tdc  i need #1tdc right ...?
it rolls good i pre lubed it it got 70psi oil pressure...what now?
i only got hedders on it now and it sounds like a gun lol with flames
shooting
out of the headders
