Hi Ed, my stock 1955 265 has a hole in the back top of the block, behind and
to the left of the distributor, where I assumed a draft tube should go but
nothing was there when I bought it last year. Not liking the aroma when
climbing a grade and not finding an original PCV assembly, I cobbled one
together that seems to work fine. A couple of days ago I was surprised to
see a short draft tube on the driver side of the engine which come from the
underside of the block near the pan and flywheel.
