I was chatting with a friend about how I plan to remove the head from my 235
and have it reconditioned. I mentioned how I would love to throw a new set
of
rings on but I don't have the space or the tools to pull the whole engine
out.
He asked if it were possible to remove the pistons with the engine still in
place, buy taking the oil pan off, disconnecting the con rods and pushing
the
pistons upward (head removed). This sounds possible to me, but of course
there's alot I don't know. Does any one see any problems with this concept?
