The switch inside the master cylinder was discontinued in 1942.  It was a
MAJOR pain in the butt since anything newer that DOT3 would cause problems
with this switch to fail.  And to replace it you had to re-bleed your whole
system.

The mechanical switch on my truck has required
replacing several times in the last few years.  I
believe there is a hydraulic type switch that scres
into one of the unused taps on the master cylinder.
Could anyone educate me on doing this, how to, where I
can get one?
