The bolts that hold down the tank straps can be a pain in the keester to
unloosen.
Here's how I managed to get them off. First I moved the seat as far foward
(toward the dash) as possible, then I removed the upright seat cushion.  Next
I found a thin aluminum box end wrench and bent it in a rough "L" shape and
was able to loosen the nuts this way.

Prices vary on getting the tank boiled and sealed, but can be as high as
$125.00.
If the tank is in real bad shape, you might want to get a repro one.
