I just got off the phone with Chris about the '53 3/4 ton pickup in his
junkyard south of Baltimore. He said he is NOT going to crush this truck, but
is going to keep it even though I gather he's not sure what he's going to do
with it. He said he would consider offers for it, and after some
back-and-forth said he'd like to get "at least $1,000" for it. He said it
needs brakes "all around", isn't running, and has "some accident damage" on
the left side.
I told him $1,000 was too much for me to pay for essential a spare truck
since I already have a '49 3/4 ton.
